An Old Marylebone Town Hall Elopement

Last year I had the pleasure of photographing a lot of London elopements and I was a frequent at Islington Town Hall & Old Marylebone Town Hall. When Katie & James asked me to photograph their London ceremony before they had their big wedding day in Spain I jumped at the chance.

As ever, Katie & James were fun, up for anything and obviously in love. Although I was only with them for a couple of days in London, it felt like I had known them ages.

Old Marylebone Town Hall is a fantastic London Town hall to make your wedding official. With its gorgeous interiors, perfect location and not to mention the stunning steps outside, Old Marylebone Town hall is the perfect London registry office to put a ring on it

Invited just their closest family, Katie & James giggled, grinned and high-fived throughout their 30 minute ceremony. Katie stunned the small room in a modern white jumpsuit from Halston and carried a modern bouquet from Grace & Thorn. As the pair put a ring on it, they cheered and danced their way out of the Pimlico Room.

Now…let’s talk about these epic Westminster registry office steps. They. are. incredible!! I had so much fun using the space and shape of the stairs to create unusual group shots (FYI….group shots don’t have to be boring, read my blog post here!) Then, Katie, & James & I ran around the streets of Westminster on the way to the restaurant to meet their closest friends & family for drinks & food
