Frequently asked Questions
Here are a small selection of questions you may be asking yourself. So I got you covered. If theres a burning question you have that isn’t below, just get in touch.
How much do you cost?
My all day packages is £1,500. this can be peeled back with less hours and less options to meet a budget. To get a far better quote, why don’t you send me a message here and include as much detail you can so I can give you a personal price.
How long do you stay for?
I know the importance of all the small things that make up your wedding day. That’s why I always start at bridal/groom prep all the way through to a few boogies after your first dance. This is usually up10 hours coverage, but I can stay longer if you need me to for a small additional charge.
What else do we get?
Everything I think you need. I’m on call all the way through your planning as a helping hand on ideas and recommendations, as well as how best to time your day. My packages also includes a totally personalised and unique USB gift and private online gallery afterwards for all your family and friends to see your photographs.
Do you travel?
I do! What’s more, all UK travel is included in my prices. So it doesn’t matter if its on the Moors of Yorkshire or the beaches of Cornwall, all my travel is included and comes at no extra charge. I do however, sometimes ask for a nights stay in a hotel to be covered.
Can we see a real wedding in full?
We are incredibly camera shy, what can we do?
The good news is that whether you are camera shy or not, I promise you that by the time you’ve finished with your couples portraits, you’ll wish it could last longer. I take my years working as a fashion photographer to good use. I know how scary it can be in front of the camera and so I find fun and unique ways to bring out the laughter and love between you.
I don’t do poses (well, if I do that are only minor like “can you stand to the right and put your arms round each other”) instead I get you both to interact with each other. I play games, bring up topics and suggest conversation starters.
Do we need to book an engagement shoot?
You don’t need to, but I always encourage it. It’s a great chance to see how I work behind the camera, and for me to see how you both work in front of the camera. This also gives you an idea of the sort of things I may ask you to do, and we can rehearse any photographs you know you want. This means, on the day of your ‘i do’s’ we already know the poses that work and I can send you back to your guests quicker and with killer shots.
Are you insured?
Absolutely. I hold full liability insurance as a photographer and be happy to send to any venue that may ask for it.
How do we book?
I’m glad you asked! All you need to get is get in touch, tell me all about your plans! I love to meet for a chat if you’re London based, but a Skype session works just as great. I will need a signed contract and a £500 deposit to secure the booking and then we are ready to go!
Will you photograph a wedding abroad?
Yep! I already have and loved it! I love to pack up my kit and see the World. In March 2015, I flew across the world to photograph a wedding in Adelaide, Australia and would love to travel again soon. I’m happy to talk about your plans and how I can help.
